Peanut Butter Bliss Cookies
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 bag of butterscotch chips
1/2 bag of chocoate chips
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

DirectionsCream butter, shortening, sugar together until well combined and creamy. Add in eggs, one at at time mixing in between. In another smaller bowl combine your dry ingredeints. Add into batter 1/2 at a time mixing in between. Stir in chips. Place on baking sheet tbls at a time making criss cross patters on top. Bake in a 375* oven for 10 minutes. This made 5 1/2 dozen good sized cookies. Plenty to fill our cookie jar, and a few left over for the kids to nibble on.
On a rainy day like today, these are perfect to bring a little sunshine inside! Perfect with a cold glass of milk, cup of coffee or tea, or even a tall glass of lemonade. Don't be surprised if these become your favorite cookie to bake, and one that is requested by the little people in your home.
