This is the first week of Autumn (well.. it starts on the 23rd, but we'll just say this is the first week!), and I plan on cooking a few meals that I haven't been cooking throughout the Summer heat. Now, don't get me wrong - we are still having pretty warm temps going on here in Texas. Anyway, here is what's on our cooking agenda this week!
Saturday
B: Bacon, eggs, toast
L:. Slide shots, chips
D: Macaroni & Cheese w/ ham casserole, fresh homemade bread
Dessert: Ice Cream
Sunday
B: Cinnamon Coffee Cake (My kids know this as "breakfast cake" cause they don't drink Coffee ha!)
L: Leftover casserole
D: Chicken n Dumplings
Dessert: Cookies and Milk
Monday
B: Pancakes, Eggs
D: Salisbury Steak, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, biscuits
Tuesday
B: Cereal and Toast
D: Pinto Beans, Rice, Sausage, Cornbread
Wednesday
B: Granola Bars & Milk
D: Breaded chicken, egg noodles w/ marinara, garlic bread sticks
Thursday
B: Pumpkin Bread
D: Beef Enchiladas, Rice, Re fried beans
Friday
B: Biscuits and Gravy
D: Chicken noodle soup, Grilled Cheese
I am getting in my regular Autumn preparatory mood ~ where I am ready to decorate with the pumpkins, scarecrows, fall swags, and all that jazz! Also, going to make some Scarecrow mix! Be expecting more posts from me this week.. as I am finding myself in a new place of ... I don't know, finding myself and liking what I am finding! Until then, be blessed and be a blessing!
