I began making these this year at Christmas time. I believe that I will soon begin using other seasoning combinations, but this one is a no fail recipe that is pleasing to both kids and adults. Add some sliced cheese, salami, and grapes and you got a great thing to greet guests at any gathering!
1 box of Saltines
1 Packet of Ranch Seasoning
1 Cup of Canola Oil
2 TBS Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Place all crackers (yes the entire box) in a dish where they all fit. I placed mine in a casserole dish I had. In a measuring cup measure out 1 cup of Canola Oil. Add in ranch, and red pepper flakes. Wisk together well. Drizzle over the crackers. Cover dish well and set timer for five minutes. Flip upside down, and let set another five minutes. Flip right side up and let set five minutes. Flip upside down and let set the last five minutes. Flip back over, and remove all crackers onto paper towels for a few minutes. Place in an airtight container until ready to enjoy!
*The crackers do not get soggy!
